Lisa Gornick works with film, tv, drawing and performance.
Currently she is making her first cross platform production which comprises all four. The Book of Gabrielle is an evolving interweave of: a new feature film; a related web series; an ongoing series of live drawing performances and an art book.
She is the writer/director/producer of two award-winning art house comedy features: Do I Love You? and Tick Tock Lullaby. She also directs for TV including the award winning pickpocketing suspense drama Dip for Channel 4.
She has been performing live drawing since October 2014, her first hour long solo show was at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015 at The Gilded Balloon. Film set meets artist's desk, real time projected image of drawing with off the cuff humour. The Edinburgh Show is about the relationship between grandma and granddaughter - and the secrets, knots and hilarity that arise from family life.
