Lisa Gornick works with film, tv, drawing and performance.
Currently she is making her first cross platform production which comprises all three. The Book of Gabrielle is an evolving interweave of: a new feature film; related short web films; an ongoing series of live drawing performances; a graphic essay book and an exhibition.
During the last few days of September and throughout October there are new live drawing shows taking place at The Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon Road, Clerkenwell and at the Rose and Crown in Toriano Avenue, Kentish Town. This is a new format and way of doing storytelling. A film set meets artist's desk. Comedy and pathos and wet ink and watercolour combine.
