Lisa Gornick works with film, tv, drawing and performance.
Currently she is making her first cross platform production which comprises all three. The Book of Gabrielle is an evolving interweave of: a new feature film; related short web films; an ongoing series of live drawing performances; a graphic essay book and an exhibition.
Two new live drawing shows are taking place.
The first as part of LOCO London Comedy Film Festival on Friday 23rd January at 7pm
The second is at The Soho Theatre Upstairs on Sunday February 8th at 7:30pm
More shows are coming soon.
This is a new format and way of doing storytelling. A film set meets artist's desk. Comedy and pathos and wet ink and watercolour combine.
She is also the writer/director/producer of two award-winning art house comedy features: Do I Love You? and Tick Tock Lullaby. She also directs for TV including the award winning pickpocketing suspense drama Dip for Channel 4.
