Lisa Gornick works with film, tv, drawing and performance.
Currently she is making her first cross platform production which comprises all four. The Book of Gabrielle is an evolving interweave of: a new feature film; related short web films; an ongoing series of live drawing performances; a graphic essay book and an exhibition.
She has been performing and live drawing since October 2014, her first full length solo show about her Grandma Ray.
This show is going to The Edinburgh Fringe.
It will be at The Gilded Balloon at 1.30 pm everyday of the fringe - tickets will soon go on sale.
This is a new format and way of doing storytelling. A film set meets artist's desk. Comedy and pathos and wet ink and watercolour combine.
She is also the writer/director/producer of two award-winning art house comedy features: Do I Love You? and Tick Tock Lullaby. She also directs for TV including the award winning pickpocketing suspense drama Dip for Channel 4.
